Wilkins Talks About His Visit

Ed Wilkins is one of many commits along with other recruits that were on campus this weekend. He talks about his time in Hattiesburg in this interview with GoldenEaglePride.com.

Ed Wilkins profile

Wilkins committed to Southern Miss back in June, and has never wavered in his pledge to the Eagles. He joined a large group on campus this weekend, and had an outstanding trip to his future school.

"I just had a great time getting to know my future teammates, and the recruits that are coming in to with me," he said. "I also love to eat, and man we just ate so much, it was great."

Wilkins spent much of his weekend with current Eagle Dominique Sullivan. "On campus I hung out with Dominique a lot at his apartment," he said. "I got to hang out with several players and I really enjoyed getting to know them."

He also got a fresh tour of the facilities. "I had never seen the equipment room, so I got to see that and was really amazed by it," he said.

Wilkins also added, "I am most excited about getting on campus and playing for the black and gold with all of the tradition here at Southern Miss. I just can't wait."

GoldenEaglePride.com will continue to update visits from both commits and hopefuls over the next few days as we head toward signing day.
