11 Practices In, What Have We Learned?

The Eagles had an off day Monday, and we took that day to examine what we've learned from the defense now that the first eleven practices are over. Coach Dan Disch and the new defensive scheme are making an impact. How are the players adapting? What players have stood out, and who might surprise this season? We'll examine these questions and more.

Coach Fedora knew something had to change. The offenses in Conference USA were leaving the Eagles defense behind, and with the offense scoring at a torrid pace, he knows with just a few stops losses will start turning into wins.
