"The camp went real well," he said. "I thought I had a great camp, I was catching the ball well and tore up my competition in the one on one drills.
"I did everything I was hoping to do today."
Fortunately, the weather held up and the campers were able to get in a lot of work and the coaches were able to evaluate.
"The coaches were great, Coach Buckley talked to me again after the camp and told me they still had an offer for me," he said. "I also was able to get to know the wide receiver's coach and I liked him a lot too."
When asked about a possible commitment, Reives said he has a long way to go before he makes a decision.
"I'm in no rush at all. I want to make the best decision for me. I like Southern Miss a lot, and they were the first to offer me, so that means a lot."
