is a linebacker that has gone under the radar so far this recruiting season. He'll have a hard time staying there if he has more showings like he did at the Southern Miss
The athletic rising senior talked about the camp in general.
"We did 40's, a ton of drills, broad jump, and we worked on man coverage and stuff like that," he said. "I worked with the linebackers all day yesterday."
When asked to rate his own performance, he said he though he held his own against many of the solid players that were there.
"I wasn't really impressed with my 40 because I only was at 4.6 yesterday, and I've run a 4.5 before," he said. "But, in the drills I stood out and thought I was right there with the best linebackers."
The coaches were impressed, too.
"They found me after the camp and talked with me about how I did," he said. "They talked about my team and told me that I really did good in all my drills. I had heard from them before, and the linebacker coached talked to me a lot."
He is also hearing from Mississippi State, Louisiana Lafayette, Alabama State, and UAB. I am going to South Alabama's camp as well.
Southern Miss is hoping to recruiting the Mississippi coast well. Several prospects from that region took in the camp yesterday, and one from Ocean Springs talked about his time on campus with GoldenEaglePride.com.
