The huge defensive tackle said his numbers are down this season because teams are now game planning around him.
"My coaches keep moving me around the defensive line because teams will just run away from me now," he said.
"I have to get most of my tackles on the chase because they stay away from me."
His team is playing well and Anderson is a big part of it.
"I've been able to get some sacks this year, but the main thing I can do is just help my defense by being a presence inside," he added. "We are 6-1 and playing well. We have a chance to go all the way this year."
Southern Miss has been the leader for Anderson for several weeks now, and nothing has changed in that regard.
"It is still Southern Miss right now for me," he said. "I haven't talked to Coach Zo in about a week, but they stay in contact with me.
"I am planning on taking in a game down there, and also taking in an official visit once my season is over. I am excited about getting down there and seeing the campus and meeting some of the people down there."
Anderson said he also hears from Texas A&M, Troy, and some from Auburn, though he doesn't have an offer from the Tigers.
He said he'd like to get through this season, then really focus on making a decision for school.
