The Eagles are set to sign today a class that has seen its share of changes. Many had committed to the previous staff, and continued the relationships with Monken's staff that was brought on board.
The Eagles are set to sign 12 in-state prospects, including several such as Dylan Bradley of Noxubee Co. and Parker Adamson of Oxford who are north of Jackson.
Southern Miss again had success in Alabama, and could sign as many as seven from that talent rich state.
There are four expected to sign from their neighboring state to the west, and always abundant in quality player, Louisiana, highlighted by late pick-up defensive lineman Christopher Robinson.
The Eagles also will sign a player from Texas and Florida.
