Harrison Central DB Drawing Interest

Harrison Central has several big time prospects coming up in the class of 2014. One defensive back is drawing a lot of early looks from programs around the southeast. He took a few minutes to update his recruiting with GoldenEaglePride.com.

Southern Miss is looking to do well in-state, and especially in their back yard and along the coast. One player getting early interest is defensive back Tito Windham of Harrison Central HS.

The talented DB took a few minutes to update his recruiting with GoldenEaglePride.com.

"Well I've been working out, running, and I am playing on a 7 on 7 team that travels, and this weekend we are going to Florida to compete," he updated us.

"We are playing for something called the next level athletes, its been a lot of fun."

He's already taken in his first junior day at LSU, and said he expects to take in a few more before he's finished.

"I'm hearing from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and I have heard that Southern Miss is looking at me," he said. "I was told by a coach that Southern Miss has been watching me since my 10th grade year."

Windham said there are several things that he is looking for in a program, beginning with academics.

"I want to be an electrical engineer, and I want a program that I can come in and compete right away and get better," he said. "Coaches are looking at me as a defensive back.

"I can play about everything, I might be the starting quarterback this year, and I also am the return man. I know I need to get better with breaking on the ball so that's something I'll be working at this spring and summer."
