C.J. Moore was a part of the state championship Bassfield team that looks to be loaded once again this season.

He talked about what is the latest in recruiting with

"We start spring practice when we get back from spring break, but we do have some camps coming up real soon," Moore said.

"We stay pretty consistent with our work-outs, and I've been throwing the ball almost every day.

"I'm always looking to improve my game any way that I can."

Recruiting is certain to really pick up for Moore as he continues through the spring and into summer camps.

"I went to Junior Day at Mississippi State, and I have heard from ULM and Lafayette as well," he said.

"I am taking in Junior Day at Southern Miss on the 23rd. My brother and I are hearing from their staff too.

"I really don't have any favorites at this point, I'm wide open. I want to take all my visits and take my time on a decision."

Moore also runs track and just recently stopped playing baseball because he had an injury last season.

He feels like the state championship run in football will fuel another one for the Yellow Jackets this year.

"2013 is going to be a big year for us," he said. "We know we'll be a team that everyone will be hunting for this season because of our success last season.

"We are working hard to see it happen again. We are still hungry." Recommended Stories
