Monken's First Spring A Success

Coming off a difficult season last year, Coach Monken and his staff knew their goal was to rebuild. They hoped to bring renewed toughness, discipline, energy, and to make the game fun again for the players. After his first spring at the helm, mission accomplished.

Coach Monken knew when he accepted the job at Southern Miss that he would be inheriting a team that had just come off an 0-12 season, had some injury issues, and was in a fragile state.
