Massive OT Talks USM Commitment

Southern Miss has added another prospect from Alabama, this time a huge offensive tackle. He talks about his commitment today with GoldenEaglePride.com.

The Eagles have added some serious size on the offensive line for years to come.

Huge offensive tackle, Dakota Siniard, of West Limestone HS in Lester, Alabama, has committed to Southern Miss after a visit today.

On his way to the beach after his visit, he caught up with GoldenEaglePride.com.

"Yes sir, I committed today to the Golden Eagles," Siniard said.

"I wasn't looking to commit to be honest. We just were going to visit on our way to the beach. Then, I got there, and my family and I were just blown away."

What was it that impressed the huge tackle?

"It was the family atmosphere that I had not seen on any other campus," he said. "From the coaches, to the academics, to the players.

"Southern Miss had everything I was looking for."

Siniard said he is ready now to shut everything down and focus on the season ahead.

"I don't want to go through any more recruiting," he said. "I'm committed to Southern Miss. That's it.

"All I want to do now is get bigger, work hard, and get ready for my career at Southern Miss."

Siniard had offers to MTSU, Murray State, and Troy in addition to his offer to Southern Miss.
