Pride Exclusive: Terrance Pope

Terrance Pope was an essential part of a defensive line that, at times, struggled to find itself last season. Early on it last season it looked as if Southern Miss was going to have its first losing season since the mid ‘90s and that the D-Line would be a big reason why.

Luckily the line gelled at the end of the year and it turned out to be one of the reasons that the Eagles were able to make it to another bowl game. Pope, a sophomore out of South Panola high school, was used last season mostly as a defensive end. This season, it seems as if a few newcomers to the line will allow him move to a tackle spot.
